What comes to mind when we think of God is the most important thing about us, so perhaps no doctrine has been opposed more than the Trinity. This is the Christian teaching that one God is in fact three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Opposition is partly because the word “Trinity” does not appear in the Bible, though its teachings permeate Scripture. Click the presentations below to see evidence for monotheism and the deity of the three persons of the Godhead. The final presentations show how to prove the Trinity and how the Church grew over the ages to better understand this vital doctrine.
