Just days before his crucifixion, Jesus left Jerusalem’s temple complex toward the Mount of Olives east of the city. Here his disciples remarked with amazement at the glorious building, covered with gold and shining in the sun. The Lord responded by telling them that the temple would soon be so destroyed that not even one stone would lay on top of another. This led to Jesus preaching one of the most significant messages of his ministry called The Olivet Discourse that explains the temple destruction but goes even beyond this to highlight the signs preceding his return. Dr. Randall Price of World of the Bible Ministries has led more than 100 trips to Israel and is one of the world’s foremost temple experts. Through his generosity, BibleStudyDownloads.org offers his teaching on these key chapters in Matthew 24—25.
